Josh Buxbaum

Whether you're purchasing for the first time, ready to sell, looking for an investment property, or simply excited about the renaissance of downtown and Hollywood, Josh is the established expert when it comes to buying or selling lofts and unique properties in Los Angeles. As a real estate investor and property manager himself, he understands the intricacies and complexities of the real estate market.

In addition to working with countless clients, Josh has himself invested in numerous loft projects all over the Los Angeles area, including Melrose Place Lofts (Weho), Laurel Court Lofts (Weho), a 6,000 sq ft live/ work warehouse on Bay Street (Downtown), Sailhouse Lofts (Santa Monica), and Flower Street Lofts (Downtown.) He has also worked directly with developers to sell entire loft projects, such as the 60 unit building at Hollywood and Vine and the Willoughby Lofts in Weho.

Born and raised in New York, Josh came to Los Angeles 14 years ago after graduating from The George Washington University. He quickly gravitated to spaces that reminded him of home, buying his first unique loft in West Hollywood. Immediately enamored by the live/work lifestyle and it’s limitless potential—both practical and financial—Josh was drawn to investing in the LA loft market. He started selling many of his fellow loft owners' spaces and soon became a trusted advisor to a large and growing client base. Quoted in Variety magazine's "V Life",The Los Angeles Times, and The Washington Post, Josh has since become an outspoken advocate for loft living.

In addition to his work as an expert in Los Angeles real estate, Josh is also an active member of the community. He is on the board of United in Harmony, a non-profit organization that provides a variety of enriching programs and opportunities for homeless and impoverished children to develop positive self esteem, and he volunteers at their summer camps each year. Josh is also a member of the LA County Assessor's Advisory Board.
